Yes, it’s true! I’m at my 2nd retreat this month! I’m at the Bits ‘n’ Pieces retreat at the moment and have been sewing furiously. I had these St. Louis themed sampler blocks all hand pieced over the last few months. I finally got them all sewed together and the binding made. It’s about 60″ square. Now I just have to get it quilted! I’ll be teaching it next fall.
Then I sewed the borders on this queen sized Asian scrap quilt. It took a while because I mitered them. This one will be donated next year to the CASA auction in Eureka, CA.
Nancy, in the photo on the left, finished her Bordeaux Baskets quilt top. Susan, on the right, finished her Drunkard’s Path quilt top. Tracy, below, finished her Helter Skelter pattern quilt top. We’ve been a very busy group this week!
And we all know that I love Lemoyne Stars. Louise is making these 8″ square Lemoyne star blocks that are just gorgeous! Some of these blocks have sixty or more very tiny pieces!
