January Retreat #2

St Louis samplerYes, it’s true! I’m at my 2nd retreat this month! I’m at the Bits ‘n’ Pieces retreat at the moment and have been sewing furiously. I had these St. Louis themed sampler blocks all hand pieced over the last few months. I finally got them all sewed together and the binding made. It’s about 60″ square. Now I just have to get it quilted! I’ll be teaching it next fall. asian scrap quiltThen I sewed the borders on this queen sized Asian scrap quilt. It took a while because I mitered them. This one will be donated next year to the CASA auction in Eureka, CA.
