Piece Mill Quilters Retreat, October 2014

I’m so far behind on my blogging! And this last month has been so busy!! In mid-October, I enjoyed 4 wonderful days at the Piece Mill Quilters retreat. I worked on several projects.

IMG_1172These are the first 3 blocks in the Star Light, Star Bright block-of-the-month from The Quilted Fox.  I’ll be making 3 blocks each month for 12 months.

IMG_1177This is the first blocks in a quilt made with many of the wonderful Australian fabrics from The Quilted Fox. I made a good start on the blocks but I still have many more to piece. I am quite happy, though, with the color combinations.

IMG_1173Finally, I put the borders on this wall quilt made from the “One for Money” pattern. The center part is made totally from one striped fabric.

It was a busy retreat, but I was quite pleased with how much I accomplished!

I also took some pictures of projects that others were working on at retreat.
